The incorporated association of Omotesenke Domonkai propagates the way of tea that has been inherited by the Iemoto of Omotesenke, with the aim of contributing to the improvement and development of Japanese culture.
It is an association of those who are studying the Omotesenke way of tea.
It is made up of the head office and the regional chapters, of which there are 53 all over the country, as well as 4 abroad.
The head office and all of the chapters co-operate to fulfill the potential of the association, promoting regional culture and further developing the culture of chanoyu. Recently, amidst the increasing interest in chanoyu, we have started lectures introducing chanoyu culture to citizens all over the country as one of the main enterprises of our association.
