The regional chapters, each of which has a local tea culture, take turns to host tea conventions for Domonkai members from all over the country, sponsored by the head office.
Attended by the Iemoto, there are tea gatherings and anniversary functions held at noted places and historic sites. Those who attend can enjoy tea gatherings with members from all over the country, as well as the history and culture of the area, enjoying a taste of travel. The friendships forged between members help to spread the way of tea in the area in which the convention is held and to promote the traditional local culture.
