Chapter conventions are held annually. It is a chance for all of the chapter members to get together.
Information and invitations to the year's functions are given out and resident disciples of the Iemoto are sent to give lectures and awards for distinguished service. The chapter also gives various kinds of original tea gatherings and there is a course for all Domonkai members teaching the practical skills of temae (tea procedure).
