The youth section is open to those learning Omotesenke chanoyu who are between the ages of 18 and 45. There are youth sections active in 41 areas of Japan. Under the leadership of the Omotesenke Domonkai chapters they hold tea gatherings, research chanoyu, and hold classes at which flower arranging for chanoyu, chanoyu cuisine and utensil making can be experienced. The people of this age group have an unfettered sensibility and there are various kinds of exchange between them.
